Can't start FMS :/

When i double click on FMS shortcut error appears :

Try again. Check if normal MapleStory works. Re-download the .exe file and the proper etc.wz file if you have to. Is the fms file inside your MapleStory folder or did you copy all of the MapleStory files into a separate fms folder?

Also try restarting your comp. No clue what the message says, but I can take a guess, that its telling you don't have permission. If this is the first time this has happened to you, then you should restart. Mine gave me problems until I restarted ><... now all is fine :D

I'm having the same problem as you, regular MS works fine. FMS works on my xp computer, but not my vista.

Make sure your compatibility for fms is set to run at windows xp sp2

To set the Compatibility mode to Windows XP, find the game's .exe file and right click it, go to Properties, click the Compatibility tab. There, you can set it to Windows XP.

^ Im pretty sure you dont need to set to Windows xp, if your using Vista. I have vista home premium, flowsionms and dxwnd working fine without setting either to windows xp sp2. But, its worth a try.

^You could also "Run as admin" if you're the admin, and its not working >> I dunno though, it works normally on vista...

well now im just getting an error code different than before where my screen just went black said nothing and didnt start up so im making some progress any advice guys??
