View Full Version : Can someone please explain the extraction process more clearly?

I need more information but the basic idea is this.

For GMS, you have a Nexon folder. There are a lot of files in there. In your C: drive, create a new folder titled "FlowsionMS"

In that folder, copy over every single file from the Nexon folder. When complete, delete the "Gameguard" folder and the "MapleStory.exe" file [it's the mushroom icon that says MapleStory].

When done, download the link "New Flowsion_055" [or something similar] to that FlowsionMS folder. It will be in a winrar or zip file, which basically compresses larger files. You can then right click it and choose an option similar to "Extract Here..."

Doing so, a new file will appear in your FlowsionMS folder. You use that program to run FlowsionMS. You can then create a shortcut to the desktop and/or rename it.

Note: If you patched the files to version 0.56, you'll need to download the version 0.55 files here (http://forum.ragezone.com/showthread.php?t=418380). I have not used this myself so please use at your own risk.

GMS is Global MapleStory that Nexon operates. It's the one at www.nexon.net etc

Basically your original MapleStory.

Thanks so much. I finally get exactly what to do. I hope that website works because Global MapleStory is now v0.57.
