Maple Story hates me

Tried playing regular maple story, and I got to the wizet screen (it's version .57) and the game froze. I ALT+TABed to see this new error message. It said, SetLowerFilters and the description was Installation failed! Then the game shut off. Anybody know whats going on? This also happens with flowsion and any other private server.

You cannot play FMS with .57 go back to .55 there should be a link for .55 patch somewhere

No no no no no. I meant I was playing GMS with 0.57. I'm aware I need to play the private servers with 0.55. I have a seperate file for them, but I still get the same error for both of them.

Do you have separate folders for GMS and FMS?

Maybe it's your firewall.
