This is just a guide on some of the nifty and useful tricks for Ventrilo (http://ventrilo.com).
How to open multiple Ventrilo Windows
1.Right click your Ventrilo desktop icon.
2.Go into "Properties".
3.Go into the "Shortcut" tab.
4.In the "Target" box type in:"C:\Program Files\Ventrilo\Ventrilo.exe" -m
5.Click "OK".
Your shortcut tab should look like this:

How to set everyone to the same volume
Vent Normalization makes everyones voice the exact same volume. In essence, you won't blow your ears out or have difficulty hearing people.

Here's how:
1.Go to Setup
2.Enable Direct Sound
3.Select the SFX Button
4.Select Compressor and click Add.
5.Under Compressor Properties use the following settings
Gain = Adjust for how loud you want people to be. (I use 14)
Attack = 0.01
Release = Around 500
Threshold = Around -30
Ratio = 100
Pre delay = 4.0
In the end, your Compressor Properties window should look like this:
